Summer

A very cold craft beer from Jesús and Victor or Gabrielle, some almonds from Blas, a salad from Manolo, a good tomato from Oscar, a drizzle of oil from Farga del Pobill, from Andrés or Alberto, an aioli made with garlic from the Mas de La Blanqueta, a piece of tuna from Ramona, a mushroom hunted by Fina or Leo, a bite of beef from Fernando and Eva or one of chicken from Ima, a peseta of wine from Jesús or Vicent, some olives from Rosa, some bajoques from Carlos or a taste of cheese from Jordi or Oscar. Maria Dolores' eggs for sweet and savory, and Pau's honey, very smooth and mellow. There is no need to name them all, they are here every day, for more than fifteen years, week after week, with us, defending the table and the Mas and now above, enduring the Basque and heat. We only know that we can't, with friends of course we can, and if our friends produce with this quality and consistency we have nothing to fear, neither from Trumps nor Netanyahus, much less from Orbans and Abascals, here we are, in our place, at the foot of the canyon.
